When Barb worked as the CED in Oneida County, I was the CED in Cortland. I always enjoyed meeting and talking with Barb at our meetings. She always had a smile on her face.
i am very sorry to hear about it
Barb was a great gal, I worked in Monroe County but in the "old" days we got together several times a year. As us older people say, "those were the good old times". Barb was always fun and you knew she did her job well. Great job Barb.
I have very fond memories of Barbara when I was a trainee with ASCS and sent to her office to learn. She had a wonderful sense of humor and played a very funny joke on me with one of her farmers that was also a NYS Trooper. We laughed at that any time we saw one another. I learned a lot from her about the job, and working with the farming community. She was a wonderful person and will be missed.
I remember Barb well. She was very involved with NYASCOE, ASCS's Employee Association. I respected her commitment to farmers and our agency. We were not in the same District but we loved getting together at state meetings. She was a front runner, among the first female CEDs in NYS. My sympathy to you and your family. Sincerely, Carol
I remember Barbara well, and enjoyed the years working together at FSA, then ASCS. I only saw her at state-wide meetings since I'm down in Dutchess County, but she always was happy to see everyone. We share your loss. Sincerely, Laura Briggs
My prayers and condolences to my friend Kevin Ford, and to the entire Ford family during this tough time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ford family. Childhood memories of the Ford's with the Simpson's and Harris' are very dear. Barb had a gentle, quiet way...making everyone feel comfortable.
