Abigail Rosemary Murphy, 21, of Waterville, died Sunday, September 5, 2010, as a result of injuries from a car accident. While attending college she worked at the Yum-Yum Shack in Cooperstown and was a personal fitness trainer on campus. Abby was an articulate public speaker, with a great passion to speak about healthy living and lived a vegan lifestyle. Taking after her parents, Abby enjoyed running and fitness activities. She was predeceased by her mother, Linda Murphy Mahar, in January of this year and her grandfather, Timothy Murphy. Abby's family will accept visits of condolence at the home of her father and step-mother, Stephen and Jamie Murphy, 354 Madison St., Waterville, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
