I was so sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. I had worked with her in the early 80's. She cared for her patients with respect and compassion. Joyce was a wonderful mentor on a young nurse.

My parents (Alan and Joan Jamieson) were friends with AB and Joyce, I remember your family from childhood, then I also had the pleasure of working with Joyce years later at the ECF at Hamilton. She was a wonderful person and friend. I am sorry for your loss.

Through a mutual friend I recently learned of Joyce's illness, and was saddened to read in this morning's paper of her passing. I had the pleasure of working under her and with her many years ago when she was in charge of the ECF at Hamilton Hospital. She was a great teacher and an even greater patient advocate. I admired her very much. It was a pleasure to have known her; please accept my condolences on your loss.
