She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Leon; her brother, James Marrone of Italy; and several nieces and nephews. Per her wishes, there will be no services or calling hours. Private interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are with Mark C. Bentz Funeral Service, Inc., New Hartford.

Condolences:

Leon, So many fond memories of our times at the Four Square church and many more after when I would run into Carolann at various ladies functions or at related healthcare sights-she was a breath of fresh "spiritual" air and it was always a privilege to be around her. Her angelic voice rises with the hosts of heaven now at the throne. Love and peace to you at this time.

Leon, my sincere condolences on your loss. I was privileged to know Carol Ann as a woman of compassion and deep faith. Her memory is for a blessing.

Leon, you and I have never met, but I am Carol's cousin Richard. My mother was Grace Marrone Cannarelli and she was a sister to Carol's father. I am sorry to hear about her passing and my wife, Serena, and I are sorry for your loss. We both wish you the best and that you will find peace in your heart very soon.

We stand with you, Leon, as you embrace your loss. A time such as this calls upon reserves in faith coupled by family to grieve together. Carolann was known for her pursuit of spirituals, unafraid to reach out for insight, eager to attend where her belief was most assured.
Kindly accept our condolences as we share your sorrow. - The Schlaegel family
