Kenneth E. "Kenny" Foster, of New Hartford, passed away August 7, 2018 at the Masonic Care Community, with his family by his side. He was born September 30, 1936, in Utica, the son of the late Raymond and Margaret Maurer Foster. He was a graduate of Utica Free Academy and served in the United States Army and The National Guard. In 1961, in Utica, he married Constance Eaton, they shared a loving union of 57 years until her death on March 7, 2018. Ken was employed at General Electric until his retirement in 1990. Ken loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. They truly made his world go around! He loved history, all kinds, but was especially knowledgeable of American and World Wars and loved to share his knowledge. On trips, he knew every landmark and could give a detailed explanation of each. He loved trivia and winning every game of Trivial Pursuit! He liked to watch baseball and said he always rooted for the underdog but found an appreciation for the Yankees over the years as he and mom watched practically every game together! He loved watching variety shows such as Hee-Haw and Benny Hill and liked listening to country music and big band music. He also enjoyed packing up the family and driving up north to see the "deer's"! He is survived by his five children, Robert (Judy) Butler of New Hartford, Randy Butler of Rochester, Rick (Debbie) Butler of Brunswick, Barbara (Roger)Bullock of Schuyler and Patricia (William) Mammone of New Hartford; seven grandchildren, Robert (Virginia) Butler, Amanda (Julio) Butler, Brett (Brittany) Bullock, Ryan Butler, Joseph Mammone, Anastasia Mammone and Jackson Mammone; several great- grandchildren; a sister, Marilyn (Ray) Crowther of Utica; a brother, Melvin (Barbara) Foster of Utica; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Connie; his sisters, Dawn Pietsch, Gloria Adams and Rosemarie Newberry; and his brothers, Raymond Foster and Ronald Foster. The family wishes to thank Sally O'Callaghan, FNP, for her wonderful and dedicated care of dad over the years as well as the staff of the Woodgate Neighborhood at the Masonic Care Community. There will be no public calling hours as per his wishes, however relatives and friends are invited to attend his services on Friday, August 10 at 11 am at Childs Chapel at Forest Hill Cemetery, Oneida Street, Utica, where Rev. Ed Townsend will officiate. Arrangements are with Bentz Funeral Service, Inc., New Hartford.
Bill, Patty and kids. Kenny and Connie were good neighbors. I miss them a lot. And, kids, you could not have had a more loving Grandpa and Grandma.

So sorry for your loss. I have nice memories of your parents. It may have been many years since I saw them, but still remember how much fun they were.
