Dear Family: I had the honor of singing with your mom/grandma at Cape Coral Methodist church...We both sang alto and enjoyed having a good time as well as preparing for Sunday's worship. We also enjoyed talking about our jewelry;she is the only person I know that wears as many rings as I do. I will miss her wit and beautiful voice.

We extend to you our deepest sympathy. We always looked forward to her visit in Cape Coral, FL., to experience her enthusiasm and joy of living and sharing her love of music. May we all trust God the Father as Jesus did, and our grief will be less than our faith. Thank you God that sorrow endures only for the night and joy comes in the morning and that nothing can separate us from Your love. Amen.

Erla was a great encourager and always treated me like one of her close friends even though we hardly knew each other. I enjoyed singing with her when our choir from Bethel Baptist and her Immanuel Baptist choir joined for cantatas. She will indeed be missed by many.
Dear Kathy and Family, I loved your mom very much and my family and I grieve with you. I have so many happy, meaningful memories of Erla from throughout my life, especially singing next to her in Valley Voices for so many years. I'm sure she sings in a Heavenly Choir now. May the peace of God that passes all understanding be yours...and may He dry your every tear and restore your joy! Love and prayers, Mary Ann
