I was so sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. I had worked with her in the early 80's. She cared for her patients with respect and compassion. Joyce was a wonderful mentor on a young nurse.

My parents (Alan and Joan Jamieson) were friends with AB and Joyce, I remember your family from childhood, then I also had the pleasure of working with Joyce years later at the ECF at Hamilton. She was a wonderful person and friend. I am sorry for your loss.
I have known Joyce for a very long time.We were very close. You can say we were best friends.I spoke to her over the phone almost every month. And our talks,I loved talking to her.We would talk about everything.I don't know what it was but it seemed like i always had good timing.Everytime i called she would tell me she was just thinking about me.I just wanted to send my condolences to the family and say im sorry for your loss.Thinking about it,its like it was my loss too.Joyce was very dear to my heart.I just want to end this saying remember me Joyce, and i love you.
Through a mutual friend I recently learned of Joyce's illness, and was saddened to read in this morning's paper of her passing. I had the pleasure of working under her and with her many years ago when she was in charge of the ECF at Hamilton Hospital. She was a great teacher and an even greater patient advocate. I admired her very much.
It was a pleasure to have known her; please accept my condolences on your loss.
