Richard F. Olczyk, 54, of Roberts Ave., Whitesboro, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Center. He was born July 26, 1955, in Utica, the son of Barbara Heckel Furmanski, and was a graduate of UFA. Richard was married to Donna Peters Williams and was employed with Daimler Buses North America. Rich loved spending time on his boat in Sylvan Beach and was an avid New York Yankees fan. He is survived by his wfie, Donna; his mother, Barbara Furmanski of Yorkville; his stepson and daughter-in-law, Larry and Alyssa Williams of Endwell; his brother and sister-in-law, John and Linda Olczyk and their children, Anna and Sam, of Holland Patent; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cynthia and William Keller and their children, Jared, Jessica and Trevor, of Concord, NC; and his daughter, Stacey. Services will be Saturday evening at 7 o'clock at the Bentz & Amodio Funeral Service, Inc., 470 French Rd., Utica/New Hartford, with Rev. Thomas Servatius officiating. Calling hours will be Saturday evening from 5-7, prior to the service. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Marissa Kalil and her office staff and the entire staff of Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Center CCU and 6th floor for all their wonderful and compassionate care.
